Designing and developing a custom web application to support Johns Hopkins University in its effort to promote innovation

The existing application used by Johns Hopkins University was poorly designed – so poorly that its main user base had decided to abandon it. In order to keep the work of the university on track, we designed and developed a brand new, fully custom software application and reporting system in Django and Vue.js to help staff better manage their work and initiatives like the Coronavirus dashboard.

After lengthy stakeholder interviews and extensive client research, our team created a custom web application that addressed all the failures of the previous, failed application. The designs focused extensively on ease-of-use and aided leadership and management in making critical business decisions by offering complex reporting and portfolio analyses.
